Business Registration
How do I register my business?
Sign up and choose “Employer”. Add your business name, industry, contact person, location and a verification document. Once approved, you can start booking workers.
What information do I need to provide?
Your business name, business type/industry, a contact person and phone number, your operational address with pincode, and a verification document (such as GST certificate, trade licence, or registration certificate).
Is there a fee to create an employer account?
No. Creating an account and listing shifts is free. You only pay when you book workers — the worker cost plus a transparent platform fee.
Can I manage multiple locations?
Yes. You can post shifts for different locations by setting the address on each booking. Multi-location and higher-volume staffing is fully supported.
Verification
Why do I need verification?
Verification keeps RoleCycle a trusted marketplace. Workers commit their time to your shifts, so we confirm every business is genuine before it can book. This protects workers from fake jobs and protects you from unverified competitors.
How long does business verification take?
Most businesses are reviewed within 24 hours. You can complete your profile and prepare bookings while your verification is pending.
What verification document should I upload?
Any official proof of business — GST certificate, trade licence, shop & establishment registration, or incorporation certificate. A clear photo or PDF is fine.
My verification was rejected — what now?
You’ll see the reason in your dashboard. Common causes are unclear documents or mismatched business details. Re-upload a clear document and resubmit.
Is my business document private?
Yes. Your verification document is stored privately and reviewed only by RoleCycle’s team through secure, time-limited links. It is not shown to workers.
Booking Workers
How do I book workers?
Open New Booking and follow the 5-step wizard: choose the role/category, set the date and shift time, set how many workers and the location, review transparent pricing, and confirm. After payment, our team assigns verified workers.
How are workers selected and assigned?
Verified workers apply to your shift, and RoleCycle assigns the best matches based on reliability score, proximity, category fit and availability. You get verified, admin-approved workers — not random applicants.
How far in advance should I book?
You can book ahead for planned shifts or at short notice for urgent needs. Booking earlier gives our team more time to assign the strongest workers, but urgent shifts are supported too.
What types of workers can I hire?
Hospitality and banquet staff, warehouse and logistics support, retail promoters, event crew, delivery support, office/admin help, cleaning and security, and more — depending on availability in your city.
Can I see worker details before they are assigned?
You can see a worker’s name, reliability score, completed shifts, verified badge and work categories. To protect workers, personal contact details, Aadhaar, address and bank details are never shown.
Can I rebook a worker I liked?
Reliable workers rise to the top of matching for your future shifts based on their score and history. Building a trusted workforce over time is exactly what the platform is designed for.
Pricing & Payments
How is pricing calculated?
Worker cost = the per-hour rate × shift hours × number of workers. RoleCycle adds a 25% platform fee on the worker cost, and 18% GST is applied to that platform fee. The booking wizard shows the exact total before you confirm — no hidden charges.
Why does RoleCycle charge a platform fee?
The 25% platform fee covers worker verification, matching and assignment, GPS-verified attendance, payout handling, replacement support and dispute resolution. It replaces costly agencies and ad-hoc hiring with one transparent rate.
When am I charged?
Payment is collected upfront to confirm the booking and reserve workforce capacity. Worker earnings are only released after the shift is completed and you approve attendance.
When do workers actually get paid?
After you approve attendance, the worker’s payout is created and scheduled automatically (typically about two days later). You don’t handle worker payments directly — RoleCycle does.
Should I ever pay a worker directly?
No. For your protection and theirs, never pay workers directly or settle off-platform. Off-platform hiring forfeits replacement guarantees, verified workforce access and operational support.
Do you offer credit or post-paid billing?
New businesses pay upfront. Settlement terms for established, high-volume businesses may be reviewed over time as trust is built.
Attendance
How is attendance tracked?
Workers check in via GPS at your location (from 30 minutes before start) and check out when done. Hours are calculated by the system, giving you an accurate, tamper-resistant record.
How do I approve a worker’s hours?
After the shift, open the booking’s Workers page and approve the recorded attendance. Approval triggers the worker’s payout. If something looks wrong, you can dispute instead of approving.
Can I change a worker’s check-in time or hours?
No — the system controls check-in, check-out and hours to keep attendance fair and tamper-proof. If the record looks incorrect, raise a dispute and our team reviews the GPS timestamps.
What if a worker’s recorded hours look wrong?
Use Dispute on the attendance record instead of approving. Our operations team reviews the check-in/out GPS timestamps and resolves it.
Worker Quality
How do you ensure workers are reliable?
Every worker is Aadhaar-verified and admin-approved, and carries a reliability score built from real attendance and performance. Higher-scoring workers get priority matching to your shifts.
Can I rate workers?
Yes. After a completed shift you can rate each worker. Ratings feed their reliability score, improving future matching across the platform.
What if a worker underperforms?
Report it within 24 hours via the booking page or support@rolecycle.com. We review the shift and may offer a partial refund, credit, or a replacement for future shifts.
What happens to workers who misbehave or commit fraud?
Under our Scam Prevention rules, misconduct, theft, intoxication, attendance fraud or repeated no-shows lead to suspension or a permanent ban. Trust comes before growth.
Replacement Workers
Can I request a replacement?
Yes. If an assigned worker cancels late or does not show, RoleCycle works to assign a verified replacement for the same shift wherever capacity allows. Contact support or flag the no-show from your booking.
What happens if a worker is absent?
You are not charged for a worker who does not attend. We prioritise sending a replacement; if none can be arranged in time, that worker’s cost is refunded for the unfilled portion.
Is replacement support guaranteed?
Replacement support is a core benefit of booking on-platform and is provided wherever workforce capacity allows. Businesses that hire workers off-platform forfeit this guarantee.
Cancellations & Refunds
How do I cancel a booking?
Open the booking in your dashboard and choose to cancel. Refund eligibility depends on timing and whether workers are already assigned.
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
Cancel before workers are assigned for a full refund of the worker cost. Closer to the shift, refunds reduce because workers have already committed. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
How long do refunds take?
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days. Service credit, where chosen, is applied same-day.
Invoices & Records
Where can I see my payment history?
Your Payments page lists every transaction with the worker cost, the 25% platform fee, GST and status.
Do you provide GST invoices?
Yes. GST is calculated on the platform fee and itemised on your payment records. For a formal tax invoice, contact support with the booking number.
Can I download my booking records?
Your booking and payment history is available in your dashboard. For exports or consolidated statements, email support@rolecycle.com.
